Mélissa Airaudi is a sports coach, a visual artist and a performer based in Paris, sponsored by the famous brand Nike. Always passionate about the body and movement, she moved to Australia in 2017, after obtaining her Fine Arts diploma. She then began giving pole dancing lessons and performing on stage full time. Back in Paris, she completed her State-diploma in fitness/bodybuilding, and also trained in Pilates and flexibility methods.
She gives inclusive sexy dance and body expression classes and works through her projects with feminist associations.
She is keen to bring in particular to the minorities represented in sport, the knowledge and self-confidence necessary for a holistic sporting practice. The balance between strength and flexibility, both mental and physical, is for her the key to a healthy body.
Sophie Bradhering, a private physiotherapist in Paris and trained in therapeutic Pilates, works on a daily basis with women suffering from pelvic and perineal pain, sometimes affecting their sex life. It can occur at any time in their life, but one in two women will experience an episode of pelvic pain during their lifetime.
It is through manual therapy, but also movement, that she helps her patients achieve a better quality of life.
In March 2020, like everyone else, I had to learn patience and find activities to do from home. I started taking an online yoga class daily. After two months, I lost 15 pounds, I no longer have back pain and I regained my flexibility as a young gymnast.
In 2021, I discovered pole dancing. In each class, I am surrounded by women of all ages, caring, encouraging and persevering. We help each other, we motivate each other, and we celebrate each other’s successes.
Over the years, I learn to look at myself in the mirror, to accept my body, its imperfections, but also to realize everything it allows me to do around this pole.
Shaped with Pleasure is a summary of all that. Sport, sensuality, pleasure and challenge. Everyone can progress at their own pace, in complete privacy.
An orgasm a day keeps the doctor away.
Helps regulate the menstrual cycle, reduces pain of all kinds, improves the immune system, and limits anxiety, particularly social anxiety, thanks to anti-cortisol hormones (stress hormone).
Orgasm releases substances with anti-inflammatory power that protect the skin from aging hormones and toxins hiding in the environment, while improving blood circulation. Result: a nourished and elastic skin.
The feeling of well-being that invades us after sex can be used to our advantage to get back to a baby’s sleep. Indeed, oxytocin reduces cortisol levels, which has the effect of calming our mind and improving our nights. Orgasm also stimulates the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone.
